I don’t know but Uhaul will rent to anyone with a pulse and driver’s license. The half-tons are better on gas than the vans.

If you rent through a normal rental agency, it’s 25. If you rent an Audi A4 through Silvercar either at Fort Lauderdale International or Miami International Airport, it’s 22.

I think it depends on the company, not the state. You may have to pay a higher fee if you’re under 25.

I think the best thing to do would be to call/email the major companies, explain you are coming from Canada and ask what the rules are. For the most part they have higher rates for under age 25 and a minimum rate of 21, but it may be different for non-US license holders. Like another commenter said, you can probably check out U-Haul too - they tend to be less strict but you’ll be in a pickup truck or box van. FWIW, I only rent from Avis, Enterprise and Sixt. Alamo, Budget, and Thrifty may have lower rates, but I’ve gotten more BS from them. If you’re going to an airport that has Silvercar which rents only Audi A4's, I’d be tempted to try them.

I think standard procedure in Florida is to get fucked up on bath salts and rip the drivers face off and steal thier car

AFAIK the age limit set by the gov’t is 21. Even through Turo you have to be at least 21 to rent a car.

Understood
Personally being able to flog — um, drive — someone else’s A4 for a bit would be tempting. Miami’s not actually terribly close to MCO, though. FWIW Orlando has always seemed like a nice city. Had family there for years
